Το Εργαστήριο Εφαρμογών Πληροφορικής στα ΜΜΕ του Τμήματος Δημοσιογραφίας & ΜΜΕ σε συνεργασία με το Ελληνικό Παράρτημα του Open Knowledge Foundation και την ΕΣΕΜ-Θ διοργανώνει Workshop για τη Δημοσιογραφία Δεδομένων.
Η γλώσσα του workshop θα είναι η αγγλική. Εισηγητές είναι μέλη του Open Knowledge Foundation International. /Οι συμμετέχοντες μπορούν να φέρουν τον φορητό τους υπολογιστή για να δοκιμάζουν απευθείας τις εφαρμογές και τα παραδείγματα των εισηγητών./

• Introduction to key journalism projects using open data around the world
• Introduction to School of Data’s data pipeline (define, find, get, verify, clean, analyse, present)
• Small guided data expedition

*Βιογραφικά σημειώματα εισηγητών:*
*Cédric Lombion – Community and Communications Coordinator, School of Data*
Cédric is based in Bordeaux, France, and joined Open Knowledge in 2015. He now coordinates several key School of Data activities such as the Fellowship Programme, the Network Projects and External Communications. He studied Public and Political Communication with a focus on Open data and Digital public services.
*Marco Túlio Pires – Programme Manager, School of Data*
Marco is Brazilian journalist and programmer. He is School of Data’s programme manager and oversees the fellowship, works on fundraising and building the network of members. Marco studied Electrical Engineering and Journalism in Brazil, and Programming and Information Visualisation in the United States (University of Michigan). He also studied Leadership and Project Management in Georgetown. At Brazil’s largest Media Group, Globo TV, he was a Production Coordinator. At Editora Abril, largest publishing house in Brazil, he was the science news reporter for their biggest publication, VEJA. In 2013 Marco was awarded with the Malofiej Bronze Medal for best infographics with a story about innovations inspired by nature.
